Shri G Mohan Kumar belongs to the 1979 batch of the Indian Administrative Service. He holds masters degree in Chemistry and business Administration. He was appointed as chairman of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) in April 2004. He has also served MPEDA as Director (Marketing) from July 1995 to August 2000.

An officer of the Orissa cadre, he served in various capacities including Commissioner of Commercial Taxes; Managing Director, Industrial Promotion Investment Corporation of Orissa; Chairman-cum-Managing Director, The Orissa State Commercial Transport Corporation;

Inspector General, Registration-cum-Excise Commissioner; Director, Tribal Welfare; Secretary to Governor of Orissa; Chief Executive, Orissa Renewable Energy Development Agency and Collector and District Magistrate of Sambalpur district, Orissa.

Shri Mohan Kumar is member of the Coastal Aquaculture Authority since 22 December 2005.

Ms Leena Nair holds a masters degree in Political Science from Punjab University. She joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1982 and has worked in various capacities in the States of Tamil Nadu and Haryana. Beginning her career as Sub- Collector, Salem, some of the important assignments she has handled are: Administrator, Haryana Urban Development Authority; Collector, Nilgris; Commissioner, Handlooms; Managing Director, Co-optex; Secretary, Education; and Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary to Government, Agriculture Department. She is currently holding the post of Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Department.

Ms Nair is a member of the Coastal Aquaculture Authority since 25 August 2006.
